Fees
Harmony Counseling Services is a FEE for SERVICE psychotherapy practice. We are OUT of NETWORK with insurance companies. The fee schedule is as follows (As of 2.14.19)
Individual Therapy
Initial Session 60 minutes $200
Follow Up Session 50 minutes $165
Marriage Therapy
Initial Session 60 minutes $200
Follow Up Session 60 minutes $200
90 minutes $300
2 hours $400
Family Therapy 60 minutes $200
90 minutes $300
In some circumstances, extended sessions can be beneficial to meeting particular treatment goals. Kimberly will recommend extended session on an as needed basis. Extended sessions require prior arrangements and scheduling with Kimberly.
Insurance Reimbursement
I do not bill insurance companies, however, at your request I will provide you with a statement that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please be aware that submitting an invoice for reimbursement carries a certain amount of risk, as we cannot control how your information is used once submitted. Not all therapeutic services are reimbursable; it is your responsibility to verify the specifics of your coverage. Insurance reimbursement is typically based on "medical necessity", often requiring a psychiatric diagnosis. Because HCS specializes in relationship based psychotherapy, I often do not assign psychiatric diagnosis in my treatment. Contact your insurance provider to determine if they will reimburse you directly for the out-of-network services you are seeking.
Scheduling an Appointment
The easiest way to schedule is to click here to schedule your appointment on our super amazing, ultra convenient online scheduler. Create your profile first, and you will have 24 hour access to the calendar. It's easy as 1, 2, 3. HCS now requires credit card information on file at the time of scheduling your initial appointment. Your information will be stored confidentially and will not be charged, unless the appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. New Client
Congratulations on getting scheduled for your first appointment! Once you get scheduled on the online scheduler, I will give you a call to get more information about the reason for your visit, answer questions, and share more information about HCS. You will receive an email with a link to the online client forms. Please complete the electronic forms prior to your first appointment. It will allow me to have a better understanding of you and your needs.
Late Cancellation Policy
Please make all attempts to keep your scheduled appointments. When an appointment is scheduled, it is reserved for that client at the exclusion of others who may be waiting to see the therapist. Since this practice is fee for service, the late cancellations of an appointment my result in a loss of income for the therapist. If you must cancel, please give a minimum 24 hours notice so that the appointment time may be given to another client. If notice is given less that 24-hours you will be charged the full fee. If you should arrive late for a scheduled session, you will be seen for the remaining portion of your reserved time. I will make every effort to see a client on time, however, in some unusual circumstances you may have to wait before being seen. In the event that I am running late, you will still be seen for the entire session.
